“You love the Red Sox. But have they ever loved you back?”
Oh, and thanks to this girl for inspiring me in this post, and in my life.
She’s a HUGE Red Sox fan (DUH!)
and I wouldn’t be the person I am without her.
But MOSTimportantly, I wouldn’t have watched the movie without her.
🙂
PS. I have thought a lot about this idea of hobbies/interests (ie Natasha Bedingfield) getting in the way of REAL life. Check it stat:
PPS. In the end, Jimmy Fallon’s character gets his act together, gets the girl, gets to the game, AND the Sox win the 2004 World Series. Every once in a while, EVERYONE WINS! Take that, Curse of Bambino!
PPPS. If my guy ever wanted to read about sports while I blogged on my Mac computer, that wouldn’t be the end of the world…
*blink and you might miss that there are 2 wedding dresses in this post.
“A [wo]man filled with the love of God is not content to blessing [her] family alone, but ranges through the whole world, anxious to bless the whole human race.”
And holy freakin’ cow, does she embody it! Her money is TOTEZ where her mouth is…
Even I can’t find the words to express how I feel about this girl.
Help me out, Natasha:
Can’t think of a better way. That’s all I have to say. I love you!
PS. In case you’re wanting some sort of count, she’s been to Uganda (TWICE!), the Phillippines, Fiji, France, and probably a million other places I don’t even know about. Jet-lagged much?
Even if you are slouching, look a little like an equestrian, and have navy blue tights instead of black because you got dressed in a hurry, it was still a good day 🙂
Should have worn it on my cheek instead of my forehead to make it more legit, but I was covering an actual wound/popped zit instead of trying to look like a gangster. And I KNOW it’s hot in herrrreeeee, Mr. Nelly, but I would prefer not to, thanks.
Renae told me about this and, um, the only way I could love this video more is if I was the bride and that beautiful man was singing to me. Oh, and I’d probably get a dress with sleeves 🙂 And also girlfriend ‘s beautiful and seems very nice, but she didn’t need to spend so much time at the tanning bed….
Tori and her family know them from Chicago!
“as long as ur a thicky thicky thick gurl u know that’s it’s on”
*when he puts those wayfarers on, I’m a goner and my heart is his…
Love it so much I’ll even be willing to look past the drug references at a wedding (weird)
This is my signature song, yes it is! Anyways, I am going to include 3 versions. But they ARE ALL GOOD! Compare/contrast if you like. If you wish to comment, don’t worry about hurting my feelings. I have thick skin when it comes to this, I feel confident in my version, and I would like your honest feedback so long as you are kind and constructive! My ranking of them are as follows:
1) Walmart Stripped Acoustic Version
2) Katherine Version
*Did it all-guitar, lead and harmony vocals, no autotune (the shakers were added in electronically)…oh, and I obviously don’t have a ton of experience with youtube videos yet (this is my first and only one). Start small, dream big!
3) Album Version
“i know they’re easy words to say, but i mean it”
*so many ups and downs but nothing’s changed, that’s why you know I’m here to stay…
*I played this for Tori and Jared and when I did she leaned over and whispered to him “that’s our wedding song.”
*WHY isn’t this song more popular? It’s SOOO GOOD! I guess I am the missionary bringing it to the world 🙂
Adding some commentary to Nephi and catching the bouquet
Men (and women!) are that they might have joy! If you’re not there at the moment, keep your head up and keep pushing forward. You’ll get there….
#maybe i can still get married someday 🙂
#weird stance
Core Beliefs: beauty (I’ve looked better but i don’t look terrible), kindness, Christ, humor
