For any critics (of any and all levels of levels of indignation/condescension/legitimate concern),
I have an answer for ya that just may freeze hell.
I keep the image of my Church/ family name veeeery clean.

so I don’t mind in the least that my car usually is not immaculate
course I still gotta get rid of some of the crap and vacuum it out sometimes
(line of propriety)
but overall it’s NOT my top priority
AND THAT IS OKAY!
Don’t ever give me crap about my car again (it’s not that bad anyways!). I ain’t lookin’ to be offended, but just don’t talk to me about that subject, k?
ya right, you’re better off tryin’ to freeze hell!
She’s not Satan either.

Yeah I would have a show like Oprah
I would be the host of everyday Christmas
Give Travie your wish list
*oh, and just so ya’ll know, it’s hard for me to over-emphasize how much I LOOOOOOOVE the music of Travie McCoy
I feel that many people today (quasi) worship Oprah Winfrey and look to her as the ultimate source of truth. While I never wish to diminish the tremendous good she has done in the world, I proclaim that she is not a direct oracle of divinity, and that there are literal prophets who speak to and for God today.
More to come on these ideas.
PS. Don’t be turned off that they are men and that these particular Brethren are all white. I’ll address those issues later. But don’t jump to conclusions. The United States wouldn’t have a Constitution if it weren’t for smart white guys. Just sayin’…
doesn’t necessarily mean you are caving to pressure.
Figuratively or literally.
Listen, we can’t change our minds too much. But we can’t be too stuck in our ways, either! If patterns go too longer unexamined, they become our prisons. Also, we can be empathetic and understanding even as we stick to our guns.

is there anyone who ever remembers changing their mind from the paint on a sign?
~John Mayer (duh!)
Myth vs. experience
thought love was dead but not you’re changing my mind!
~Travie McCoy (duh!)
you change your mind like a girl changes clothes
How do these things relate to YOU?
When have you changed your mind?
When have you not?
Black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow…
even if you’re going down!
~Travie McCoy/ Jason Mraz
That’s what life is all about!
Jason Mraz and Travie McCoy are both huge sources of inspiration, hope, humor, and joy for me. They are both so human and down to earth. And SOOOOO unbelievably talented. Lyrically, musically, stylistically, free-styling, song-writing, collaborating and solo work: you name it-they’ve got it! Not only that, but from what I have read and seen about them, they both seem like pretty decent guys too. And I know I’ve said this like 10x before, but Mr. Mraz is from Virginia, just like me! Seriously, these guys bring me joy through their art. Don’t want to get my hopes up, but I would love to meet them just to tell them as much.
Here’s my take on one of JM’s songs.
And here’s me doing my own “interpretation” of one of TM’s songs.
Thank you guys.
This is my message in a bottle,
I hope that you receive it
If it washes up at your feet then open it and read it…
