Said this guy right here.  And a wave of relief washed over me.

I’m glad you like my blog, but I DON’T want you glued to your seats…

Figuratively or literally.

I’ve had people email/FB/text me saying how much they appreciate my blog.  And I appreciate that YOU appreciate it.  It feels good to have readers, especially if I’m gonna get that Webby, BUUUUUT, remember that your story is more important than mine.  Read my blog when you’re on your computer or Iphone or whatever, but don’t forget to LIVE YOUR LIFE!

Laptop died AND my car crashed the same week….

about 2 and a half years ago.  And student-teaching was hard.  I felt like Job (except with 2 X chromosomes and living in 2011 America).  It was a tough time, emotionally, financially, etc.  BUT without it, I wouldn’t have been able to experience this:

My Laptop was Stolen!

Not really…phew!  I feel like if some guy stole my laptop and got onto my grooveshark playlists, he  would totes be like “oh my gosh I have never seen such a great taste in music before!!  I want to return this immediately and just go to concerts with her!”  I’d be glad to have my computer back, but i don’t really want to date a thief…

#if your playlists are dull and lacking these days, lemme know and I’ll help ya spice them right up 🙂

The Yellow Ipad

I wish the woman in “The Yellow Wallpaper” had an Ipad.  It would have made it easier to hide her writing.  And she probably could have read all about postnatal psychosis and learned what good drugs could have helped her feel better.  Mental illness is real.  But so is help.
