Don’t say that I slack when there’s something I lack.

Sonnet #14
(by KDub)

Don’t give me crap,
and don’t give me flack.
Don’t say that I slack
when there’s something I lack.

My weakness is magnified in my own eyes,
so don’t you insult me by speaking so coldly.
(to quote John) “I’m in repair; I’m getting there
and what I need most is for you to CARE!

But it’s a huge disadvantage
when you try to micromanage.
‘cuz the best way to affect me
is to simply respect me.

So you do your thing, and I’ll do mine.
And we should get along just fine!
