In August 2012, I began to have a faith/existential crisis that lasted for about 10 months and was the closest thing to what I can only imagine hell is like. By the grace of God, I have come out of that dark period of my life and am once again strong in my testimony. As painful and horrific as that experience was, I’m glad that I went through it, as it enabled me to be more understanding, empathetic, and ultimately more Christlike toward other people, particularly those whose beliefs are different than my own.
What sort(s) of crises/challenges have YOU experienced
that have made you more compassionate?
Katie made a 180
