“Unsolicited Advice:” A Poem.

You better think twice

‘fore giving unsolicited advice

Not sayin’ never do it

Just sayin’ think through it

If it’s truly needed, I will be humble

‘Cuz pride is a block that could make me stumble

or cause my foundation to crumble

Still, you gotta give it very judiciously

Otherwise, it may come off perniciously

Also, tone of voice

is a conscious choice

And your deliverance

makes ALL the difference.

‘Cuz if you insult my intelligence

I just may become belligerent.

So think awfully carefully

before you “advise” me.

The End.
