I’m usually a fairly easy person to get along with…

but I have little to no tolerance for people who deliberately and casually break laws/ rules, particularly the BYU Honor Code (including, but not limited to, modesty and curfew regulations).

I don’t care if you don’t agree with it, YOU SIGNED IT!

If you don’t want to live by it, get out and give your spot to one of the thousands who wish they could have gone to school here!

I’m NOT looking to get offended, I know we are all human, but people who think they are too good to obey that stuff make me fume.

Brigham Young didn’t put up with a lot of crap.

And neither do I.

OBEY THE (Brigham Young University) RULES, PEOPLE.

You can maintain your individuality/ identity/ personality

while still doing this!

“I have been asked what I mean by ‘word of honor.’ I will tell you:  Place me behind prison walls—walls of stone ever so high, ever so thick, reaching ever so far into the ground—there is a possibility that in some way or another I might be able to escape; but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me and have me give my word of honor never to cross it. Can I get out of that circle? No, never! I’d die first.”

FRIENDS!

1.  What rules, laws, statutes, or codes have YOU committed to honor?

2.  How far would you go to defend your honor and personal integrity?

3.  How can you be even better committed to keeping your word?

PS.  I know that sometimes even good people make mistakes and unfortunately may even break the Honor Code.  I strongly believe in repentance/change in these cases.  Read here for a bit more about this.
