I used to think that pretty much all people (celebrity and otherwise) who left the LDS Church in one form or another were lazy, disobedient, prideful, swayed by Satan, and were “tares” (Matthew 13:27 and Doctrine & Covenants 86).

ImageI do not think that anymore.

Still LDS/Mormon!

Still Christian!

Still think it’s very important to keep one’s covenants (baptismal and/or temple).

Still believe that “These are the last days” (love this talk by Elder Holland on the subject).

Still believe very strongly that we need to keep the name/ image of Mormonism clean.

Still believe very strongly that religious freedom is for everyone (the Church’s new website about this is so cool!).

Line of Propriety.

Myth vs. Experience

Paradox.

    Will Swenson, an LDS actor who is no longer a practicing Mormon. He was in “The Singles Ward” (among other things).
