I used to think that the word “atheist” was (nearly!) synonymous with “murderer” or “rapist,” or at LEAST with “terrible person.”

I do not think that anymore.

Still LDS!

Still Christian

“I do believe there are some atheists (celebrity and not) who have legitimate morality and goodness, but I still think it is very sad (perhaps even tragic) that there is an overall disregard of faith and belief in our society.”

  1. I’m glad you don’t think that any more. I promise you that an atheist life style is filled with joy, wonder, and awe to the greatest degree. Some of us can be unpleasant, but that can be said of anyone regardless of their religious beliefs. I have found in my experience that atheists are some of the most caring people I know.

  2. True. Its sad that they disregard faith, though they are still good people.
